Storylines
While attempting to protect his partner from Michael Myers, Deputy Frank Hawkins accidentally killed his partner on October 31, 1978. Also he stops Dr. Samuel Loomis from killing Michael. Forty years later, on October 31, 2018, after being injured and found dead by Dr. Ranbir Sartain, Hawkins is found by Cameron Elam, who calls an emergency vehicle. Hawkins regrets allowing Michael to live and commits to killing him.
Meanwhile, Tommy Doyle commemorates the 40th anniversary of Michael's imprisonment with survivors Marion Chambers, Lindsey Wallace and Cameron's father Lonnie Elam, each of whom had experienced the same experiences with Michael in 1978. Firemen Laurie responds to Stepped's drinking house experience Michael, who crushes them with his own hardware. Laurie undergoes emergency surgery at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital with her daughter Karen and granddaughter Alison. Michael goes after Laurie's neighbors, first wounding and killing Peter, then, in the nick of time, slitting Peter's throat with a bright light cylinder. He then begins his return journey to Haddonfield.
