Story Line
A singer named RV Malhotra is attacked and killed when a masked intruder breaks into an apartment complex. Aditya Rathore, a former CBI officer and DCP, leads the police, who discover that Gautam Mehra, son of businessman Divesh Mehra, carried out the attack and arrest him.
Divesh scolds Gautam, a spoiled brat, for disrupting his ex-girlfriend Siya's wedding. Singer RV has converted Hungama video into rap song. Gautam is thrown out of his house and business. He helps her intimidate her rival Q/Kiran while he pretends to be in love with her. RV falls in love with Gautham and she reveals that her biological father, popular singer Balakrishnan Shastri, had an extramarital affair with her mother, but never confessed to either of them. By becoming a famous singer, she hopes to win over her father's disapproval and accept her as his daughter. Shastri publicly disowns his daughter, and Gautham leaks RV's childhood pictures, implying that he was out to get revenge on her for humiliating him. The RV is destroyed. When Gautam is attacked by Siya's husband Aditya three months after the breakup and RV takes care of him, he realizes how much he loves her. Though she leaves him with a heavy heart, he begs her to give him another chance.
