Storylines
At a clinic in Greece, 10-year-old Michael Morbius invites his proxy brother Lucien, whom he names Milo; They are bound by their common blood disease and want to be "special". Nikolas, his adoptive father and director of the hospital, recognizes Michael's potential and arranges for Michael to attend medical school in New York while caring for Milo.
After 25 years, Michael openly declined the Nobel Prize for his work with fake blood. His colleague Martyn Bancroft learns that he has captured several vampire bats from Costa Rica in the hopes that they will add their qualities to his own in order to cure his condition. Michael receives a subsidy from Milo to outfit a secret Soldier of Fortune vessel in global waters with his own hardware. When the fix works, it turns Michael into a vampire who attacks him out of fear and kills him, eliminating their blood group. When his bloodlust subsides and he retrieves his remains, a sick Michael deletes all the CCTV film of his trial before the experts reach him and jumps over the edge.
