During the 1st century BC, the Roman general Imprint Antony gave three bejeweled eggs as a wedding gift to the Egyptian sovereign Cleopatra. Two eggs were discovered by a farmer in 1907, but the last egg has been lost for over 2,000 years.
Interpol agent Urvashi Das, now an FBI agent, along with John Hartley investigate the theft of one of the eggs on display at the Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. Cheater Nolan Stoll, requiring global craftsmanship, escapes with the egg, yet finds Hartley and Interpol at his home in Bali. They take over the stall but the main competition in the corner is Sarah "The Cleric" Dark Egg. Das has Hartley locked up in a distant Russian prison with Stoll, believing him to be responsible for the robbery.
Hartley recommends that he and Corner collaborate to overcome the Dark; Believing that he assists in taking Hartley into custody, Stahl will be the main Artisan goon on the planet and Hartley's name will be cleared. The pair escape prison, traveling to Valencia to collect the next egg. Sotto Vos, an arms dealer, is the owner of the second egg. They penetrate his hidden ball and battle Dark in Vos' vault for the egg. Hartley is tortured until Booth reveals the location of the third egg, when Black reveals that he is working with Vos. According to Booth, Black betrays Vos and leaves for Egypt. Corner tells Hartley that he lied; In fact, the egg is in a secret location in Argentina that was written on his late father's special watch. His father bought the watch because it had once belonged to Rudolf Zeich, Adolf Hitler's special caretaker. Looking in the woods, they find a mysterious fortress containing Nazi relics, including a third egg.
