Story Lines
After assisting Bruce Wayne and Diana Ruler in stopping a terrorist group's bank heist in Gotham City, Barry Allen looks back on his experiences growing up in the household and reunites with his parents Nora and Henry before Henry's injustice. Remembers his childhood. Custody for Nora's murder. Barry accidentally uses the Speed Force to travel back in time to an earlier day and confronts Bruce about it, overwhelmed by his emotions. Despite Bruce's warnings that time travel may have unintended side effects, Barry returns the day of Nora's death and stops her from working. As Barry returns to the present, he is taken out of the Speed Power by another speedster and is transported to 2013 where his mother is alive. He sees his past as his own and accepts that he has appeared on the day he initially gained his powers.
Barry and his younger self go to the Focal City Police Division, where Barry gives 2013-Barry the power of lightning to replicate the accident that gave him his powers. Both Barrys are struck by lightning, giving the 2013-Barry his powers, yet Barry loses his powers all the time. As Barry struggles to prepare 2013-Barry in the most efficient way to use his powers appropriately, they both see a broadcast by Broad Zod, who is getting ready to attack Earth. Barry's attempts to assemble the Equity Association have so far been unsuccessful because, in this timeline, they cannot find Diana, Victor Stone has not yet acquired his abilities, and Arthur Curry is unlikely to have been born. Are. The two travel to the Wayne house, hoping to locate Bruce, but instead find another, more established version of him who has resigned from fighting crime. Bruce explains the multiverse and explains that using time travel to change history affects events before and after the change. This explains why Barry sees a change in the timeline before Bruce leaves. Both Barry persuade Bruce to assist them in locating Kal-El.
