StoryLines
Penn Mansell has a conventional life, with his wife Becca he has two children and his father works in an average office at Eddie's metal fabrication company. His marriage is strained, and his work life appears to be monotonous.
One evening, thugs break into his house, and his high school sweetheart, Blake, tackles the guy and puts him in a wrestling ring. Box prepares to go after the woman with the golf club, but leans over and offers to rescue her child from the man, who punches the child. The goons take away his watch, and this incident leads everyone to think that he is despondent. Cubby contacts his brother, Harry, on a secret radio in his office and learns that he remained silent because the criminals were frantic, fearful, and using a discarded weapon.
Shortly thereafter, his little girl, Abby, requests his help locating her missing kitty cat wristband. Hoping that it was taken during a break-in, the box visits his father, David, and receives his father's old FBI identification and weapons to find the robbers. He hopes to find the tattoo he saw during the break-in. The pressure inside the tattoo parlor is working until an erratic conflict veterinarian sees the QB's "72" tattoo while playing a card game. The vet gleefully says "Thank you for your administration," then runs over and closes the entrance behind him. This shows the other people in the room that this is an important person. He locates the thief's house and negotiates with them, taking back his stolen watch, though their wiped out child is soon found and left.
Some goons block the transport he takes back home, and Penn, looking for a chance to vent his frustration, severely beats them under the false pretense of saving a young woman from indecent behavior. At home, he realizes that he has not been speaking to his family and attempts to reconnect with them. Harry persuades her to see "The Hairdresser", who presents a box with data about one of his casualties: he is the younger brother of Yulian Kuznetsov, a Russian crime expert. In retaliation, Yulian sends a group led by his right-hand man Pavel to capture Box at the house. Cubby hides his family and kills a large portion of the attackers before Powell eludes him and captures him. Finding a fire extinguisher in the storage compartment of the vehicle he is safe in, Cubby uses it to stun the driver, causing an auto collision that kills Powell and his remaining team.
Future
In Walk 2021, Connie Nielsen expressed interest in reprising her role for the spin-off. The actress said she would like to look into Penn and Becca's history, adding that there was talk of how the two characters met on the set of the main film. In June of the same year, it was reported that Kolstad was currently composing a sequel, despite the fact that it still could not be approved by the studio. Walk 2022, 87North Creations revealed via Virtual Entertainment that the studio was hoping to finish No One 2, although no official production date was announced at the time. By August of the same year, Leitch confirmed that work on the material was in progress, while also expressing that the studio was focused on providing continuity.
In December 2022, McCormick announced that a spin-off was officially happening, with principal photography planned for 2023.
