Story Line
In Italy in 1978, Vikramaditya otherwise known as Aditya is a young widely acclaimed astrologer. After reading the hand of top state leader Indira Gandhi and referencing The Crisis (India), he moves to Rome. Nicknamed as the "Einstein of Palmistry", he is a disciple of the holy man Paramahamsa. Aditya doesn't believe in close relationships, but immediately falls for Dr. Prerna, an outstanding and unusual young specialist. They meet in a different train from that place. At some point, Vikramaditya sees the palm of Anand Rajput, an optimistic legislator and finance manager. When Aditya says that Rajput cannot become an MLA, Rajput's men chase him, causing him to meet with an accident. She is admitted to the clinic where Prerna works and is being treated there. After recovering, Aditya proposes Prerna to be in love with him. Prerna, however, feels offended and leaves town, though Aditya follows her as far as possible. She accepts his proposal and they start dating. However, Prerna's uncle, Mahan Chakraborty, tells her not to develop any deep affection towards Aditya.
While Aditya and Prerna are traveling by train, another man urges him to look at the hand of his daughter, Tara, an aspiring archer. His guess is that he has no future in the sport, and must concentrate on training. Amazed by Aditya's expertise, each of the consultants requests a forecast by showing their palm but Aditya reluctantly declines with Prerna. Still, he understands that everyone on the train is bound to guarantee passage. He follows her to stop the train but fails. Shortly after this, the train crashes, causing some shockwaves. Prerna, who seems to believe in palmistry, requests Aditya to read her palm.
