Plot
American couple John and Summer are unable to conceive. They are looking for a surrogate mother and are traveling to Rajasthan. He feels that local dancer and aspiring actress Mimi Rathod will make a perfect surrogate for his child after meeting him. With the promise of 20 lakhs (US$25,000), he persuades Bhanu Pratap Pandey, a taxi driver in the area, to hire Mimi as his surrogate. Mimi, who travels to Mumbai to pursue her dream of becoming a Bollywood star but lacks the financial means to do so, initially hesitates before agreeing. Mimi gives birth to John and Summer's child after the IVF procedure is successful. Mimi tells her parents that she is pregnant and that she is going to Mumbai for nine months to shoot for a film. She starts living with her friend Shama. Bhanu is asked by John and Samar to deal with Mimi during her pregnancy.
