Story line
In a bar, Zoe and Veer meet. Zoe is prevented from continuing when the two leave and decide to spend the night together at Veer's house. He tells her that this is not the right time. Zoe is furious and leaves. Zoe eventually confronts Veer and tells him to stop following her, but Veer continues to follow her.
A flashback scene in Udaipur features Leena and Raghuvendra "Raghu" Singh having the same conversation.
Back in the present, Veer takes her to the Mehta Group office for an interview, where they slowly begin dating. Raj, an ex-medical student who is linked to the Mehta group, fled Udaipur and now owns several restaurants in Delhi, including the cafe where Zoe often gathers. A friend of Zoe, Raj tells her about his childhood sweetheart Leena, implying that she is now Raghu. He tells her that he used to act the same way Veer does with Zoe. He also tells Zoe about his childhood memories with Leena and how he asked Leena to dance with him.
In a flashback, it is shown that Raghu and Leena used to meet in secret, and Raghu moved to Delhi to be with Leena, leaving everything behind. He had even left studies to be with Leena. Later, Zoe comes across Raj and a woman she believes to be Leena. however, he learns that this is not the case. Raj now admits that he left Leena for his fantasies of living in a big city. Zoe is persuaded by her mother that she cannot possibly combine her career and love life. She meets Veer's parents, but he leaves crying. Veer tells Raj what Zoe did, and Raj, convinced that he has influenced Zoe's behaviour, hires him.
