Story Line
Aarti Shukla, a beautiful and intelligent girl, meets Satyendra Mishra, a clerk in the excise department. Her parents are trying to arrange a marriage for her, and Aarti Shukla meets Satyendra Mishra because of her persistence. Aarti likes Satyendra's unorthodox ideas, and Satyendra is captivated by Aarti's beauty and intelligence, so the two fall in love and agree to marry. On the wedding night, Aarti's sister Abha informs her that she has cleared the PCS exam. She also tells Aarti that if she marries now, her in-laws will not let her pursue her dreams. Aarti decides to run away from home at the instigation of her sister and maternal uncle without informing Satyendra or his family, which shocks Satyendra and leaves him heartbroken. Later, her uncle uses a ruse to return some of the dowry money to Satyendra's family, which they had already spent on the wedding and saved for Satyendra's sister's wedding. As a result his family experiences a difficult period in the society. Five years later, Aarti, now a PCS officer, is placed under suspension until her case is resolved. He is accused of taking bribe. During the investigation, Aarti learns that the district collector and newly appointed IAS officer Satyendra is the officer in charge of her case. Aarti learns that Satyendra has no sympathy for her.
