Storylines
Based on the Marvel Comics and starring Clint Barton as Hawkeye and Kate Bishop as Hawkeye, the American television miniseries Hawkeye was created by Jonathan Igla for Disney. It is the fifth TV series in the Wonder Realistic Universe (MCU) created by Wonder Studios, which is set in harmony with the films of the establishment and takes place after the events of the film Justice Fighters: Final Plan (2019). In order to be with his family in time for Christmas, Clint Barton teams up with Kate Bishop to face enemies from his past. Igla served as lead essayist and Rhys Thomas handled the coordination group.
Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint Barton from the film series, with Hailee Steinfeld joining him as Kate Diocesan. Additionally starring are Tony Dalton, Fra Fey, Brian D'Arcy James, Alex Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, Alaqua Cox, Zane McClarnan, Florence Pugh and Vincent D'Onofrio. Wonder Studios was promoting a restricted series focused on Hawkeye for Disney by April 2019, with Reiner returning. The series was officially announced that July and Igla had parted in September, by which time Steinfeld had joined unofficially. Thomas and Bert & Bertie joined as the leads in July 2020, and shooting began in New York City in December. Steinfeld and the rest of the cast were confirmed, and shooting is slated to kick off in late April 2021. Additional shooting took place in Atlanta, Georgia. Matt Division and David Eja had a significant influence on the Hawkeye comic series.
