StoryLines
Former dealer Chris Faraday lives a quiet life in New Orleans with his wife, Kate, and their two children. They discover that Kate's brother Andy was hiding the drugs, but they are abandoned in a Mississippi waterway during an unexpected investigation by US Customs and Line Insurance.
Andy's boss, Tim Briggs, makes moves to kill Chris' family if Andy does not pay him for the drugs. Chris plans to steal $10 million in counterfeit bills from Panama into the US in a van. He asks previous partner Sebastian Abney, who has a development business, to support the plan before joining the team to transport goods with Andy and partners Danny and Davis. After Briggs scares Kate and their kids by breaking into Chris' house, they move into Sebastian's house for good.
In Panama, Chris redirects the boat so that he, Andy and Danny can leave and recover the counterfeit bills. Chris and Danny eventually visit a volatile wrongdoer named Gonzalo for counterfeiters, leaving Andy in the van with his cash. Briggs calls Andy, and makes moves to kill one of Chris' children if Andy does not go with the money to another location to buy cocaine. With Andy and the cash gone, Chris agrees to assist Gonzalo in breaking into an reinforced vehicle in exchange for counterfeit bills. Gonzalo and his men are killed during the robbery, however Chris and Danny get away by placing everything on the freight transport with the van, the counterfeit bills, and Jackson Pollock's painting Gonzalo.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that Sebastian was indicted for robbing the gym church and is secretly working with Briggs. Sebastian learns that Chris is planning to dump the cocaine and Briggs advises Kate to compromise to prevent Chris from doing so. Panicked, Kate moves in with the children to Sebastian's, but when she returns to pick up some belongings, he ostensibly confronts her and coincidentally takes her out for a shower.
