StoryLines
The world is a post-ecological desert, a no man's land, caused by cultural disintegration and fighting over resources. A survivor named Max Rockatansky haunted by the memories of the relative hordes of people he forgot to protect is captured and taken to Warlord Immortan Joe's Bastion, where he is held. and is used as a "blood bag" for Nux, an emaciated conflict child. , Meanwhile, Imperator Furiosa, one of Joe's lieutenants, is sent with two of Joe's associates to the protected "war equipment" to exchange the produce for petroleum and gunpowder. When Joe learns that five of his wives are fleeing the device, he leads his forces in search of Furiosa near Gas Town and the Guide to the Shot Ranch. Nux is chased by Max tied to his vehicle and a fight ensues. Furiosa crashes into a dust storm and loses all of her pursuers, except for Nux, who attempts to detonate the device himself. Max frees himself and restrains the Nux, and Furiosa destroys their vehicle.
After the storm, Max finds Furiosa repairing the equipment, joined by Joe's wives: Toast, Able, the Dag, Chido, and Angrad, the rest of whom are desperately pregnant with Joe's child. Max attempts to take the tool, but has no clue about the code to remove the off button, so he hesitantly meets up with Furiosa and his wife. Nux refills the device as soon as he leaves and attempts to kill Furiosa. He survives and is thrown out, and is captured by Joe's army as they pass by. Furiosa passes through a sewer blocked by a biker pack, planning to exchange fuel for her protected area, but when they see a military approaching, the crew attack her, forcing her to escape. is forced to. The bikers blast the walls of the sewers to stop Joe and later look for the equipment, presumably stopping when the fuel case explodes. Joe passes over the bar in a cattle truck and finds the equipment, allowing Knux to climb in and go after Furiosa once more, though he trips before reaching the taxi. While assisting Max, Anghrad falls from equipment and is crushed by Joe, causing him to lose interest for a while.
